This is not actually me...I'm far more handsome.
I'm Karl and I own this domain and it's associated website,

My fascination with computers began at early age but I couldn't get near one until I was about 11 years old. And even then, my resources were extremely limited as aside from the Amstrad Sinclair Spectrum 128K +2 manual, I had no other means of learning. Being the rebellious & cheeky chap I was, the school wouldn't let me near one either. Actually, that's not entirely fair. My very first introduction to computing & programming was while I was at a naughty boy's school. They had a 32K BBC machine. Once a week or so a lady would come in and teach us - one on one - BASIC programming on the BBC. I remember the first programme was a text adventure, very small (about 9 rooms I think) and very little involved. But I was amazed. Alas, I moved schools (back in to mainstream) so the full programme was never seen - only portions of it. Nonetheless, it had sparked an interest.
