Sam CoupeSo a couple of weeks back I finally purchased, only some 25 years late, a Sam Coupe. And no, I won't share how much I spent because it's in 'mint' condition and the drive is completely silent aside from the smoothest of whirring noises. I suspect this machine, which has only a minor colour issue that affects most computers from that day, was barely used and stored in it's box in someone's attic for numerous years. Until I got my grubby mitts on it

The Sam I have isn't technically a Sam Coupe - as mine is the West Coast Computers version known as the Sam Elite. West Coast Computers purchased the remaining stock from SAM Computers Ltd in November 1992 with some minor changes to the model; 512K standard RAM (as oppose 256K) and the addition of an external printer port. But I don't mind, I'm not a puritan. I'm happy with the Sam that I've got!
